About My ParenTime NEW: My ParenTime's Family Community does NOT send and has NEVER sent unsolicited emails. What began in 1997 as a small site containing links and an original Babysitter Checklist, has grown into an informative resource of 5 websites - not only for parents, but for everyone! One of our websites, WritersArea.com, was sold in 2003 due to time constraints, and has since reopened under new ownership. We now have an active community of 4 websites that provides valuable free information such as: informative articles, free printable checklists, calculators, games, forums, child and family safety information, & much more! We have something for everyone :)! You'll find that the majority of our content is centered around parenting & family, but there is other informative content that everyone should find helpful & interesting! Some of what you'll find here at MP are: articles, special reviews (books, music, & more), information on trying to conceive, pregnancy & parenting information, a great assortment of informative website links in our Category section, hints & tips, a website award program, our family mall, and so much more! Many hours are spent researching information for articles, finding informative & helpful resources, and other fun things to bring to My ParenTime. The Internet is a huge open resource of information, and some people just don't realize how much information is out there, free for the taking. There are also those who don't know how to search for information on the Internet, which is one reason for our wide variety of topics. We hope there will be something here that you'll be interested in, or something that you're looking for. If not, you can always Email us! If we have the time, you've got our attention :). Find out What's new? My ParenTime is the home of STOP SEX OFFENDERS, a very popular site that contains very informative child safety information & solutions to difficult situations, and sex offender protection in general. You'll also find child abuse information; one of the most updated listings of state sex offender registries; an exclusive Child ID System, which is provided free to visitors; and child safety products & books. In August, 2005 we published our much praised child safety book, "I Know Safety: A Rhyming Story to Help Young Children Learn About Safety." Our rhyming safety story was created to help young children develop some tools, so they will be able to remember basic facts about keeping safe. Included with the story are numerous safety tips for parents, inspiring quotes, and Child ID Cards! It's never too early to begin teaching your child about safety! Much more is planned for the future, so be sure to visit often! The website can also be reached by typing in ChildandFamilySafety.com. We moved our checklists to their own domain in the winter of 2000 -- we realized they deserved their own space after 2 years of residing on myparentime.com. We are currently reformatting all of our checklists to be opened as PDF files -- we aim to make all of our checklists more uniform and easier to open. Visit Printable Checklists today to get more organized! Jupiter Parents is the 1st online community resource for parents in Jupiter & Tequesta Florida. There you'll find much information about happenings in the area, including informative content for everyone living elsewhere. Read more about Jupiter Parents. Our latest sighting was on March 24, 2006 on the Kim Komando website -- in an article discussing Chat Lingo. FunInternetGames.com is an easy way to remember our cool online games area! Some of these games are very challenging, but all of them are FUN :)! Writer's Area is another website that used to be in our family community. It's a great place for amateur writers to showcase their writings - poems, short stories, articles, and other writings. There are sections for adults and children, and of course...all writings are family-friendly! Unfortunately, this site was removed in early 2002 due to time and financial constraints, and sold in late 2003 to new owners. It has since been re-opened. My ParenTime's Family Community now consists of 4 websites (writersarea.com was sold a few years ago). It has been noticed by many across the nation -- online public libraries, newspapers (online & off for reviews, news articles, and reference), online television stations, online radio stations, police department websites, and government websites. We've also shown up in many online newsletters, bulletin boards, and even a few books!
