Poison Prevention March 16-22 is Poison Prevention Week! Poisons are lurking in more than your medicine cabinet! Did you know that each year in the US, nearly 100 children die from poisoning, and more than one million are injured by poisonous substances? It only takes an instant for your child to find something poisonous -- unfortunately, it also takes an instant for the poison to take affect. There are many products in our home that can harm our children -- in our medicine cabinets, under our sinks, in our garage, and even in bottles left out on the counter.
