Celebrate National Salad Week with Marie's Recipes!

National Salad Week is July 25 through the 31st! We want to help you celebrate your week with some great-tasting recipes from Marie's!

Marie’s complete line of premium refrigerated salad dressings and dips are made from the freshest ingredients. Marie’s Salad Dressings, the nation’s leader in refrigerated salad dressings and dips, offers more than 25 taste-enhanced flavors such as Blue Cheese, Ranch, Creamy Italian, Tangy French, French Onion and Poppyseed, just to name a few. For the ‘calorie counters’ there’s Lite Blue Cheese and Lite Ranch. Both lite dressings taste the same as their regular counterparts.

Make your gourmet meal complete! Use one of the following recipes for great-tasting salads today!

Marie's Creamy Italian Antipasto Salad

Preparation time: 20 minutes; Also include additional time to blend flavors - 1 hour.

  • 2 cups Marie's Creamy Italian Dressing
  • 1-2 lbs. Tortellini cheese pasta, pre-cooked
  • 6 oz. Salami, chopped into small cubes
  • 6 oz. Provolone cheese, cut into strips
  • 12 oz. Corn, canned, drained
  • 8 oz. Artichoke hearts, marinated drained and chopped
  • 1 small jar, Pimientos, diced and drained
  • 1 small can, Black olives, sliced
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
To taste: Salt and Pepper

Procedure:

1. In a large bowl, combine tortellini, salami, provolone cheese, corn, artichoke hearts and olives; mix gently as the pasta is delicate and will break apart easily.

2. In a small bowl, combine dressing and 1/2 of the parmesan cheese.

3. Pour the dressing over the pasta mixture and toss gently.

4. Top with parmesan to finish.

5. Refrigerate one hour to blend flavors.

6. Before serving, top with pimientos.

Serve Chilled with Marie's Creamy Italian Dressing!

Yields: 4 Servings.



The two Marie’s recipes below are both are perfect for an Independence-Day barbecue!

Marie's Raspberry Vinaigrette Pork Sandwich
  • 1 cup Marie's Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing
  • 1 Pork tenderloin
  • 1 bag Assorted greens, prepared
  • 1 Red onion, sliced
  • 1 Tomato, sliced
  • 1 French baguette, cut into fourths for sandwiches
Procedure:

1. Marinate tenderloin in dressing, grill.

2. Slice tenderloin and place onto baguette sections with greens, red onion and tomato.

3. Serve additional dressing on the side.

Serve Warm with Marie's Raspberry Vinaigrette Dressing.

Yields: 4 Servings.



Marie's Caesar Shrimp Skewers

Preparation time: 1 hour, 15 minutes.

Serve Warm with Marie's Caesar Dressing.

Yields: 5 Servings.
  • 1/2 cup Marie's Caesar Dressing
  • 1 lb. Shrimp, cleaned
  • 1 tsp. Parsley, chopped
5 Skewers.

Procedure:

1. Combine dressing and parsley together, reserving about 1/3 of the mixture.

2. Place shrimp in dressing and let marinate for one hour, or more if desired.

3. Skewer shrimp, and grill.

4. Serve with reserved sauce on the side.
