It looks as though Europe will finally receive a child abduction alert system, similar to the U.S.’s Amber Alert System. It will be launched on May 25, 2010, which is International Missing Children’s Day. According to the following article by SkyNews, “The system is being co-ordinated by the National Police Improvement Agency (NPIA) and any national abduction investigation will be led by Greater Manchester Police.”
