Avoid the Bomb!

In this game you have to search for bombs in a grid. You're given numeric clues to figure out where the bombs are hidden, while the status bar of your browser keeps track of how much time you're taking. The timer begins counting as soon as this page finishes loading, so to start over just click your browser's "refresh" button.

Avoid the Bomb Rules:

1. Uncover tiles by clicking on them...if there are one or more bombs in any adjacent squares, then the total number of bombs is shown in that square. Using these numbers, together with your skill, judgement and some luck, you should be able to determine the locations of all forty bombs.

2. Mark a tile that's hiding a bomb by dropping a flag on it (click the tile while holding the [Ctrl] key). You only have one flag per bomb, so be sure you're sure where the bombs are! You can remove a flag or place a question mark on a tile (if you're not sure enough to drop a flag) by repeatedly clicking on it while holding the [Ctrl] key.

3. The game is over when you either set off a bomb, or when all tiles have either been flagged or uncovered (i.e. you have found all the bombs). The number of bombs remaining is shown in the status bar of your browser, together with the time you have taken so far. Good luck & have fun!
