Warp Fun! Save Your Warped Image
Saving your Warped Image is easy! See below for instructions:
Windows:
- Take a screen shot: Click once on the title bar of your browser to make sure it's active, then press "ALT" + "PrintScreen". The "PrintScreen" button is on the upper-right side of your keyboard - often labeled "Print Scrn").
- Paste it into an image editing program: Open up a Paint program (Windows has one under Programs -> Accessories -> Paint, then click on the Maximize button on the upper-right corner of that window and choose "Paste" from the menu.
- Crop your image: Use the paint program's tools to refine your image anyway you want.
- Save or Print your image: Choose from the menu to save or print and there you go!
Mac:
- Take a screen shot: Press Comman (Apple) + Shift + 3, all at the same time. You should hear the sound of a camera snapping a picture. This will put a file containing a screen shot on your hard drive.
- OR - Take a cropped screen shot: *This only works on System 7.6 or later.* Press Command (Apple) + Shift + 4, all at the same time. The mouse cursor will turn into cross-hairs. This will let you choose which part of the screen to grab. Click and drag the outline of your picture. For example, click on the upper-left corner of the image, hold down the mouse button, and drag the mouse over to the lower right corner of the image. Then release the mouse button. You should hear the sound of a camera snapping a picture. This will put a file containing a screen shot on your hard drive.
- Open it with SimpleText: Double-click on your hard drive icon (for example: Macintosh HD), and you should see a file named "Picture 1". Double-click on this file to open it in SimpleText. You can now print the picture, but you can't edit it in SimpleText.
- OR - Open it with an image editing program: Use an image editing program like Photoshop to open the "Picture 1" file, to crop the image, and save or print it from there.
