Special Book Review
CD: "Nursery Rhymes and Nursery Songs by J.W. Elliott"
This delightful CD is full of Mother Goose nursery rhymes and children's poetry, all originally composed by J.W. Elliott. Containing 46 songs in all, you are sure to be familiar with many of them. Included are old-time favorites such as, "Hey Diddle Diddle," Sing a Song of Sixpence," and "Little Bo-Peep," and other tunes such as, "The King of France," I Had a Little Doggie," and "Dolly and Her Mamma."
Although I was not familiar with every song on this CD, as I listened to each composition, I thought of childhood memories -- of mine and my daughters'.
MyParenTime.com recommends the CD, "Nursery Rhymes and Nursery Songs by J.W. Elliott" -- the keys of the piano chime softly in the background while accompanying the beautiful "opera-esque" voice of Robin Hendrix. The playful-sounding musical selections are sure to please both children and parents alike.
