Online-to-Print Baby Memory Service & Book: "babEbookTM"
As a parent, I can't help but jot down every milestone in my child's life: from stories about her birth, to every witty comeback...her favorite things, how she spent her birthdays, etc. I actually have more than one baby book and journal -- I could never decide on just one. None of the books contain everything I want to include, so I continue to use them all.
Today there is a wonderful solution for parents -- it's called "babEbookTM." Parents now have the opportunity to record all of their child's information into one printed book, which is personalized with firsts, stories, sounds and photos that they provide.
babEbookTM is the unique idea born by Erin Read Ruddick. Erin says, "This innovative service lets parents tell their story in their own words. babEbook's unique multimedia features help parents create a richer legacy of memories." While at the website, parents can submit as much or as little information as they want about their child's life. They can add milestones, letters from family, mom and dad's stories, photos and more. Numerous suggestions are given, and you can see previews of what the book will look like anytime you choose. Parents can choose from the following packages:
- Basic: 1 yr svce, 45-pg book
- Grand: 2 yr svce, 69-pg book
- Deluxe: 3 yr svce, 85-pg book
Parents can also add pgs in 8-pg increments.
When parents feel they have finished adding all of their child's information online, they will be able to publish their book. While awaiting completion, they can keep track of its production status. When completed, parents will receive a professionally finished 6" x 9" spiral bound book, in one of 4 design themes that parents choose.
MyParenTime.com highly recommends babEbook's service -- what a wonderful idea! I've sampled what the website service has to offer, and believe that parents will be happy with the finished product. Not only will their children have a book all about themselves, but they'll have their information contained all in one place :). In addition, the website is easy to use, and its pages are nicely designed. My only wish is that there be a direct link to "Preview Book" on every single page -- this is something I found myself doing quite often :). A personalized babEbookTM is sure to be a hit with parents, and will make a wonderful gift they can give to their children :).
