Special Book Review "Freddy Fly Children's Book Series", Laura O'Keeffe Cute little bugs take the stage for a new series of children's books! Freddy Fly is a cute little character whose closest friends are Filthy and Fruity. Together, they're magically brought to life and engage children in imaginative stories. This new series of books is ready to entertain children! This review is based on the following four books in the series: Freddy Fly and the Naughty Nightmare Freddy Fly and the Venus Fly Trap Freddy Fly and the Christmas Cuddle Freddy Fly and the Magic Eye What's wonderful about these new books are it's bright and bold coloring scheme -- this is a wonderful attraction for young children. The characters are drawn in a bold black outline, which almost makes it seem like a coloring book image. Both ideas creatively keep a young reader's interest. Each book has a lesson to be learned - and Parents may find themselves discussing each situation with their child, further opening the lines of communication. I would have liked to see a bit more to each story, which I felt ended a bit abruptly.
