Special Book Review "The Ballad of Blue Eagle" What do a rabbit, a squirrel, a raccoon, an armadillo, a porcupine, an owl, a bear, and an otter have in common? They're just a few of the animals who are friends living in Peaceful Valley. In the book, "The Ballad of Blue Eagle," by Steven Jones, Sammy Squirrel is almost a cougar's meal, but thanks to his friends, especially Blue Eagle, his and the lives of his friends are spared from a certain ending. MyParenTime.com highly recommends this book -- the illustrations are colorful and descriptive, and the rhyming story has a postive theme and happy ending. Most of all, the story shows how important it is for friends to stick up for and to support one another.
