Special Book Review
"Spike the Rebel"
We should all learn to be kind to one another -- so books that help explain this message to children are very welcomed by us. In the book, "Spike the Rebel," by Carl Sommer, a boy named Spike goes around being mean to people and not caring what they say about him. It isn't until he hurts himself and needs help, that he realizes the power of being kind. Spike realizes that he wasn't really happy being mean, and makes a change for the better.
MyParenTime.com highly recommends this book -- the illustrations tell the story of how important it is to be nice to others. This story sets a good example that all children should try and follow.
