"What's Under the Bed?"
Many children struggle with the feeling that something evil lurkes beneath their beds...especially at bedtime. It's certainly scary to think that a huge scary monster lives under there!

In the book, "What's Under the Bed?" by Joe Fenton, a little boy named Fred thinks he may have something living underneath his bed...and he imagines all sorts of scary things. By the end of the book, he never actually sees anything scary...but... *insert scary music here*

MyParenTime.com recommends this book -- the rhyming sentences are short and easy to follow for young readers, and the black and one-color illustrations are eye-catching and descriptive. Regarding the story...parents, you know your child best -- are they afraid of monsters? It might be an old story, but the fear is still a very common one among young children. So just judge wisely before you read this book with your children...we don't want any kids waking up in the middle of the night worried about monsters under their beds!
