Special Book Review
"i before e (except after c)"
Whether you're a child or an adult, knowing how to spell correctly, use good grammar, and remember certain facts, is very important...and sometimes very tricky. There are words that are spelled alike and that sound alike, but have completely different definitions. Especially if you're a student, you know how difficult it is trying to remember how to spell certain words and recall certain facts. If there's a trick to help with learning, we're all for it.
The book, "i before e (except after c)," by Judy Parkinson, is full of tricks to help teach you how to remember things: the spelling of difficult words; long listings of names, places and facts; mathematical and scientific equations; geographical locations, and so much more. Although many of the tricks included are indeed very helpful, there are just a few that seem too difficult to implement. For these we suggest just remembering the facts as they are.
