"Jay McGraw's Life Strategies for Dealing with Bullies"
Bullying has been a hot topic for a long time now, and it isn't taking a back seat anytime soon. In fact, teaching children how to deal with bullies has become a priority among parents, child advocates, schools and anyone else who cares about children.
Any book that helps children deal with bullying is worth reading...especially for children in elementary and middle schools. "Jay McGraw's Life Strategies for Dealing with Bullies," is a book that explains to children all about bullies and bullying. Jay helps kids understand why others bully, the different ways they bully, and helps bullied kids feel better about themselves. He also includes journal exercises and quizzes throughout the book, and a few anti-bullying pledges for children, parents and schools to follow.
MyParenTime.com highly recommends this book -- children of all ages need to know that they should never feel as though they are alone. Never be afraid to tell an adult about any bullying situation, and never feel as though you have done anything wrong to bring on bullying. Jay's book is worth reading...you can never be too informed.
